Carpentry

Carpentry is my original trade. I install cabinets, doors and windows. Build decks and fences. Do custom woodworking projects. Install siding and exterior trim. Add shelving to closets, pantries, bathrooms, and garages. Do small framing and drywall projects, including aging in place modifications.

CROWN MOLDINg and Millwork

Nothing dresses up a space more than new trim. Whether you prefer traditional or modern, I can give your home an updated look. I can put in wainscoting, beadboard, and other features that will make your space stand out.

Plumbing

I can change out a toilet or put in a new vanity. I can hook up a new dishwasher or replace old supply lines that could fail on your washing machine or under your sink. Re-caulk your bathroom sink or tub. Caulk around the base of your toilet.

LEAKS & CLOGS

I can often unclog a drain or deal with a leak under a sink.

Installations

I can install lots of different hardware, from towel bars to grab bars. I can change door hardware or update your cabinet knobs. Put in a mount to hang your TV. Replace or add a storm door to your entrance. Install an overhead storage rack in your garage or hooks for your tools. I can hang pictures or other decorations. Install a bracket for your garden hose. Put up hooks to hang your coats. Replace a microwave over your stove. 

Electrical

I can do small electrical projects as long as it doesn’t involve rewiring. I learned mainly from working on my own house.

FIXTURES

I can install new light fixtures for you. I can also change bulbs in inconvenient locations.

SWITCHES & DIMMERS

The right dimmer can not only set the mood but save you money. You may want a different style of switch or want to change the color of the switches and outlets to better match your decor. You may want to add a timer for your bathroom fan, or one for your exterior lights.
